Over time we have been asked to produce a variety of work, and for artist Polly Morgan we have again been able to assist.
Polly Morgan is a gifted taxidermist who recently had one of her works titled "Carrion Call" at the Haunch of Venison group show, Mythologies, in March of this year. She trained as a taxidermist under the tutelage of George Jamieson, and has moved to making still lives, with animals as the subject. http://www.pollymorgan.co.uk/
This wooden coffin made by us, is shown to be full of newly hatched (taxidermied) chicks searching for light and food. Polly Morgan says when it is taken out of context people can see it is beautiful, and appreciate it for what it is.
Every day is different and so is our work, but fortunately we have the talented craftsmen to make it happen.
