Rob Prewett, of Prewett Bizley, is the architect behind the scheme and the pioneering project to demonstate how carbon emissions can be reduced, with a property heated only by a towel rail!
The Technology Stategy Board was set up to show how deep cuts can be made in the carbon emissions from social housing.
A fortnightly diary is tracking the progress of 64 Midmoor Road, Balham, and this will be to the Passivhaus standards. This standard is popular for new build, but rarely a standard for refurbishments.
