K & D Joinery have won the Runner Up position in the Barking and Dagenham Borough Council Business of the Year Award for 2010. The award was based on three key elements:-

Evidence of a positive sustainable impact
K & D Joinery were delighted to have been awarded the Runner Up prize. Amongst the elements considered, the Company has developed a high performance PEFC Chain of Custody accredited thermally efficient window, with a U value of just 0.8 W/m2K. This range of windows is called Zero 8.
The Company collaborates with many architects by producing energy efficient joinery products, and the London architects - Prewett Bizley, is one with a South London scheme for the Technology Strategy Board.
