Eastleigh Station, Southampton - June 2011 to January 2012
We were pleased to receive a nomination following previous work from a contractor to Network Rail, Geoffrey Osborne, and even more pleased to receive the intriguing order for joinery along the length of a footbridge spanning 4 tracks at Eastleigh Station, Southampton.
The station was built by LSWR in 1839, and following various name changes became Eastleigh Station in 1923. Today there are some 1.45 million passengers.
We will be supplying rooflights, casement and dormer windows, and many metres of bespoke mouldings, all to match the originals following extensive site surveys.
The project was successfully completed in January 2012.
